Chinese Companies have been on the forefront of 5G development and deployment, there’s no denying of this fact. Their companies are seemingly leading in the development and deployment of 5G technology on their home soil (China) and abroad, especially in Europe.
Here are the major Chinese companies developing and deploying 5G technology:
Huawei Technologies is a telecom solutions company that offers infrastructure application software and devices with wireline, wireless, and IP technologies.
The company’s products and solutions have been deployed in over 100 countries and have served 45 of the world’s top 50 telecom operators as well as one third of the world’s population. Huawei Technologies has 3 divisions in the United States: enterprise (IP networking and routers, wireless, storage, data center security), carrier, and consumer devices (smartphones and tablets).
2. China Mobile
China Mobile Ltd is an investment holdings company that provides mobile telecommunications and related services in Mainland China and Hong Kong.
Its portfolio of services comprises of local calls, domestic long distance calls, international long distance calls, intra-provincial roaming, inter-provincial roaming, and international roaming, caller identity display, caller restrictions, call waiting, call forwarding, call holding, voice mail, conference calls, and others.
In addition, the company offers data services, wireless data traffic services, telecommunications network planning design and consulting services, mobile data solutions, network planning and optimizing construction testing and supervising activities, technology support, designing and selling electronic communication products, and more.
ZTE is a provider of advanced telecommunications systems, mobile devices, and enterprise technology solutions to consumers, carriers, companies and public sector customers.
It is a leading global provider of telecommunications equipment and network solutions. Founded in 1985, ZTE Corporation has been listed as an A-share company on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange since 1997.
In December 2004, ZTE was successfully listed on the Main Board of The Stock Exchange in Hong Kong, becoming the first Chinese company to hold both A shares and H shares. Currently, ZTE is the telecom equipment provider with the most market capitalization and revenue in China’s A share market.

China Telecom Corporation Limited (China Telecom) is full services integrated information service operator in the People’s Republic of China.
The Company, along with its subsidiaries, is engaged in the provision of basic communications services, including comprehensive wireline telecommunications services, mobile telecommunications services, value-added services, such as Internet access services, integrated information services and other related services within the service area of the Company.
